definition of perpendicular

I am back with another geometrical concept called definition of perpendicular. You have been learning different types of definitions for different geometrical figures right.

Definition For Perpendicular:- When two lines intersect each other and forms 90 degree it is said to be a right angle. When two angles between them is about 90 degree it is said to be perpendicular. These lines are denoted as m1*m2= -1

Do you know that the horizontal lines can be said to perpendicular to the vertical line.

Guys try working on this with your own imagination using this definition in mind. There is nothing good compared to self study guys believe me work hard and keep your goal in mind and you will reach it.

Sample algebra equation

Do you still find have a problem in how to solve algebra equations, guys i have some very simple algebra equations below. I had worked on simple algebra problems, now lets go ahead.

Firstly let me explain you what is algebraic equation here.

This has been explained to you earlier also that an algebraic equation is said to be the set of variables, constant and mathematical operators like addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and equal operators.

Here we have some simple example with steps below.

Simplify the expression, 2(4m-3)+3n-2m-5.

Solution:

Given expression is, 2(4m-7)+3n-2m-5.

First, multiply the factors in expression 2(4m-7)+3n-2m-5, it comes up as

8m-14+3n-2m-5

Secondly grouping of like terms should be done as shown below,

8m-2m+3n-14-5

----> 6m+3n-19

Therefore the answer is 6m+3n-19.

Simple example right? Well, now can you find square root? Can i ask you questions on square root in my next post?

An advice to children to study math

When i sat with my son teaching him bar graph, i remembered you all, i remembered that i had posted different kinds of graphs a few days back and you all like it.

Friends i noticed that my son did not know anything about graphs. I was so shocked as he was a brilliant school student and his teachers use to like him for his intelligence. But suddenly i noticed that he was gone down from his studies. My son was very much interested in mathematics but looking at his current performance i was shocked. Then i realized to check with him, as to what is that he has lost interest for.

Guys he says he plays in his school and does not concentrate in class. Friends, you all need to concentrate in your class. Learn what your math tutor is teaching you. Not only math but all the other subjects too. Pay attention to the steps she uses to complete the math problem. I am sure you guys will also be a brilliant student. I advised the same to my son. I don't want him to cry like the child you see above.

Well i have given him an assignment of 8 parts of speech and definition lets see how he works on it.

Square root chart

I was given a square root chart and was asked to look at it and work on square root problems. I was not aware of how to find square root. I found square root properties in it.

Firstly, lets see what are the properties of square root below.

Properties of Square Roots:

1. The product of two square roots having different numbers inside can be written in a single root with the product of those two numbers.

2. When a number gets into the square root, it turns into a square of the number.

3. The square root of a fraction is also written as individual roots.

4. When a perfect square comes out of the root, it becomes the number without square.

So guys now when you get some problems on square root, you should not be asking your mom or dad, " do my homework" try doing it yourself.

Calculus assignment

Do you know why online calculus homework is useful? It is helpful for professors, young students and even you or me. Though its a major subject for all of us but all of us will not be able to do it by our selves. Can you do it by yourself without any body's help.

Increasing knowledge by any means is not bad. We have to learn more and more things around us.

There sites which provide online calculus answers are made to help us, then why is that many of us think so much to take their help.

Search online solve precalculus problems to improve your knowledge.

Integral Function

Integration is one of most important study of calculus in mathematics. Lets discuss on intergral function in this post. Mathematics is very useful, just look at it and learn the uses of mathematics.

The below mentioned formulas are useful to prepare the integral exponential function.

Look at the above mentioned examples of the integral function, we will work on some more topics in my next post. Well how about learning maths seconde... give me your views:-)..

binomial theorem

Do you guys know which is the most important application in mathematics which is used to solve higher powers like(99) rise to power 7? It is binomial theorem. It would have been very difficult to solve higher power using repeated multiplication without Binomial theorem.

The binomial theorem explains the power of the binomial. Binomial coefficient is the resulting coefficient of the expression. By using binomial theorem we can raise the power. For example, (x+y) is a binomial.

Look at some Binomial Expansions

(a + b)0 = 1

(a + b)1 = a + b

(a + b)2 = a2 + 2ab + b2

Binomial theorem helps us expand binomials to any given power without direct multiplication. Direct Multiplication can be time-consuming or even not possible in some cases.

We will work on some solved examples in our next post. Guys along with mathematics work on even spoken english exercises they will help you speak more fluently.

Circumcenter

Guys i am sure by looking at the topic you know i am with a geometry topic. Yes, i am with circumcenter today. You have learn t what is a circles and its properties. Today lets learn what is a circumference.

Definition of a circumcenter:- The circumcenter is the center O of a triangle's circumcentre. One of several centers the triangle can have, the circumcenter is the point where the perpendicular bisectors of a triangle intersect. The circumcenter is also the center of the triangle's circumcircle - the circle that passes through all three of the triangle's vertices. The circumcenter may lie outside the triangle.

Well we will learn how to find the circumcenter in our coming post and get ready with your answers on parts of a circle as i will come up with the questions related to it until then enjoy some hot cheeze pizza below.

Adding vectors

As i told you earlier, i am with adding vectors or addition of vectors . Do you remember what are vectors which is already been explained to earlier.

Addition of vectors:- Two or more vectors may be added together to produce their addition. If two
vectors have the same direction, their results will have magnitude equal to the sum of their magnitudes and they also have the same direction.

I am sure by looking at the above the definition of addition of vectors you will be now able to work on them but make sure you practice them. I will come up with many more such topics. Lets work on dot product of two vectors a very interesting topic as this.

Vectors

Friends, today lets work on Vectors, it is good concept in mathematics.

What is vector?

A quantity having length and direction is called a vector. A non negative real number. Normal vector has perpendicular vector on surface. Another vector is tangent vector. It is a curve at particular point or surface at any point. These points can be specified.

Free vector is that vector whose initial point is not fixed. It is also known as a non-localised vector.

For example, velocity vector of particle moving along a straight line is a free vector

Some of the example of vector are Velocity, acceleration, weight and force.

Lets work on more vectors in my next post. Until then post your comments on the current post.

Word problems on Mean, Median and Mode

Friends, I explained you about Mean, Median and Mode earlier . But with the introduction given to you will not have a clear idea how to solve it. There are online mean, median, mode range worksheet these days just check them out.

This is the continuous of my previous post which gives you the introduction of mean, mode and median, i have posted earlier. I have a few word problems which will help you understand the concept.

Word problem 1:

Following are the ages (in years) of 10 men at a office:

32, 41, 28, 54, 35, 26, 23, 33, 38, 40

1) What is the mean age of these men?

2) What is the median age of these men?

3) What is the range of the ages of the men?

4) What is most number of men are in the same age?

Solution:

Arrange the ages in ascending order: 23, 26, 28, 32, 33, 35, 38, 40, 41, and 54.

1) Mean = (32+41+28+54+35+26+23+33+38+40) / 10

Mean = 350 / 10 = 35years

2) Median is the middle values of the given set of data.

Median = (33+35) / 2 = 34.

So, the median is 34 years.

3) Range= highest age – lowest age= 54 -23 = 31 years

So, the range is 31 years.

4) There is repetition in the given set of data. So, there is no mode.

Word problem 2:

Following are the weights (in kg) of 8 students in a school:

48.5, 50, 44.5, 49.5, 50.5, 45, 51, 43

1) What is the mean weight of these students?

2) What is the median age of these students?

3) What is the range of the ages of the students?

4) What is most number of students are in the same age?

Solution:

Arrange the ages in ascending order: 43, 44.5, 45, 48.5, 49.5, 50, 50.5, and 51.

1) Mean = (43+44.5+45+48.5+49.5+50+50.5+51) / 8

Mean = 382 / 8 = 47.75kg.

2) Median is the middle values of the given set of data.

Median = (48.5+49.5) / 2 = 49.

So, the median is 49 kg.

3) Range= highest age – lowest age= 51 -43 =8kg.

So, the range is 8kg.

4) There is repetition in the given set of data. So, there is no mode.

Here, above we see how to find the mean, mode and the median step by step. Work on it and increase your knowledge. Let me know your views on this post and i will post some more informative post for you.

Mean, mode and median

Hi Guys, i was just observing a few kids here trying to solve some problems on mean, mode and median. I found that they were trying to find what is mean, mode and median and also faced some difficulty in solving them. When i helped them they were very happy. Just then, it struck to mind that some of my friends like you may also be struggling to work on these problems. Were you not?

There are many types of averages in statistics, but mean, mode and median are the most commonly used averages. Lets discuss on the introduction to mean, median and mode.

Introduction to Mean, Median and Mode:-

Mean:- It is considered as the standard of integers. Jut put all the integers together add them and divide them by the number of integers.

Median:- The middle number in the list of numbers or the middle value in the list of numbers is called the median. The numbers need to be in numerical value. To find the median, you need to place the given set of integers and arrange it and find the middle number.

Mode:- The value which occurs most often is called the mode. If we find no number repeated then that set does not have a mode.

Lets work on it with more details in my next post. I will solve a few problems which will help you understand how to solve mean, median and mode. Meanwhile, post your comments on this, let me know if my post helps you.
